Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Overwatch

What is Overwatch?

Overwatch lets the community self-manage itself by allowing experienced members of the community to review in-game reports made by other players. Upon review, Overwatch "investigators" can flag the reported player as abusive/cheating/griefing if appropriate, and temporary bans will be applied if necessary.

How do you apply for Overwatch?

The short answer is, you don't. You get selected to review a report(s) based on several aspects of your activity within , including:

  • the amount of hours you have played
  • the age of your account
  • the amount of competitive wins you have
  • your Competitive Skill Group
  • your report count

That said, people who are both active within and have a high/positive Overwatch score are more likely to be chosen for future reports as they have proven themselves efficient at successfully reporting players.
